(Re)Shape Chicago gives young people the opportunity to shape solutions to address real issues, challenges, or opportunities that they face in their schools and communities. The culminating youth-led conference and benefit dinner is coming up on March 30th. Click here to get your tickets or here to register youth participants!
If you believe in the power of young people as change-makers, (Re)Shape Chicago will create opportunities to learn from, connect with, and support ideas developed by our youth through a highly interactive conference and benefit dinner.
This year, young people have decided to focus on issues related to safety and violence. Safety is not only the absence of violence, it is about respect, self-determination, connection, and freedom from fear. Through (Re)Shape Chicago, youth will propose solutions to build safety in our schools, communities, and throughout Chicago.
The solution proposed last year by Girl World will come to fruition as they launch their updated Red Cards and line of anti-street harassment merchandise during this year’s reception. Watch the video of the proposal they presented at last year’s (Re)Shape Chicago event!
