Wicked Truth
Through the Wicked Truth Technology Apprenticeship Program, participants learn the theory and practice of digital filmmaking. Youth engage in all aspects of the film production process, from pre-production through editing and post-production, growing their skills through interactive, hands-on workshops and seminars.
Wicked Truth participants learn the basics of camera handling, story development, directing, editing and other key components of the filmmaking process. Through this program, youth develop a portfolio of original short films, as well as developing and reinforcing soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution, and more. The training program is a paid apprenticeship, carrying the same expectations and requirements as any other job opportunity and providing youth with early work experience while they develop advanced skills.
